SUMMIT K12 BRANDING (2024)
Complete re-imagination of Summit K12’s social media branding philosophy. Digital.
As part of a general design refresh, my team was tasked with redesigning the Social Media branding.
We wanted the design to be inspired, at least somewhat, from our main icon.
With that goal in mind, we decided to take the highlight elements from the logo and use them as assets within the design. We wanted to ensure all elements of our design pointed back to our main iconography.
These are the wide-format post templates. The difference between the two versions of the design allow us to start training our audience on what type of company news corresponds with what color. This would allow them to decide if it's relevant at a glance.
These are the square post templates. While they follow the same general color philosophy as before, we wanted to expand the option for Instagram to ensure teachers of each grade band were represented. From there, we decided to assign each grade band a corresponding color.
All the templates side by side. The shapes, color, and content are infinitely swappable allowing us a templated, cohesive solution to a non-static creative problem.
